You will find a private bathroom along with a spacious deck perfect for watching the tides. We provide comprehensive three-night packages to handle all your travel details. This includes daily meals, afternoon tea and a full day exploring Timba Timba, Mataking and Pom Pom.

We prepare fresh seafood every single day. Fishermen bring their morning catch straight from the Celebes Sea to our kitchen. We grill fish, prawns and squid using simple methods to highlight their natural flavors. Many guests consider our meals a major highlight of their visit. Our spot on Bum Bum Island provides a peaceful alternative to the busier resort areas nearby. You get wide open sea views stretching across the archipelago.

Semporna is a small town in Sabah famous for its incredible marine life. You can easily reach the Tun Sakaran Marine Park, Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai from our location. Bohey Dulang offers an excellent hiking trail for those who want to stay above the surface. These waters provide amazing experiences for both experienced divers and casual snorkelers.

Day Tour

Hiking Bohey Dulang

Bohey Dulang is one of the most photographed spots in the region. The island itself is an extinct volcano featuring a shallow lagoon inside its caldera. You will walk a 600-meter forest trail to reach the summit. The hike generally takes 30 to 45 minutes each way. The top provides a wide view of the surrounding islands and the blue Celebes Sea. The peak stands 353 meters above sea level. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes for this climb.

Tun Sakaran Marine Park

Tun Sakaran is the largest marine park in Sabah. It protects eight distinct islands across a massive reef system. This day trip takes you to Pulau Mantabuan and Pulau Sibuan. You will find quiet beaches and excellent shallow snorkeling spots here. The tour operator collects a standard Sabah Parks entrance fee upon arrival. This protected area holds an incredible amount of marine life.

Mabul and Kapalai Snorkeling

The waters around Mabul and Kapalai hold incredible marine diversity. Mabul is famous for unique small marine life and large sea turtle populations. Your tour will stop at the Mabul Water Bungalows for photos and a lunch break. You will then snorkel directly from the boat into the rich waters surrounding Kapalai. You might also spot local Bajau Laut families on their houseboats selling fresh seafood near Mabul.

Permit Day Trip

Sipadan Island (Permits Required)

Divers travel from all over the globe to experience Sipadan. The island sits near a deep oceanic trench featuring a massive vertical wall. You will dive alongside thousands of fish, giant schools of barracuda and numerous sea turtles. The area is heavily protected to preserve the environment. You must secure a permit well in advance to visit. Guests often combine their stay with us with a few nights at a Mabul dive resort to secure these permits.

Scuba Diving

Sipadan Dive Sites

Sipadan features five main dive sites that each provide a unique underwater experience. The island closes every November for marine conservation efforts. The best water visibility happens between March and October. You must arrange your permits through a licensed operator before arriving. Sabah Parks currently limits each diver to three dives per day at Sipadan.

Massive schools of swirling barracuda. Strong currents bring in pelagic fish and reef sharks.

Drop Off

A steep vertical wall near the jetty. You will see soft corals, gorgonian fans and resting turtles.

South Point

Currents meet here to attract various shark species. White-tip and grey reef sharks are common.

Turtle Patch

A grassy feeding area on the eastern side. Green and hawksbill sea turtles gather here.

Three Daily Meals Included

We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet-style in our main restaurant. Our kitchen prepares a mix of local Sabahan, Chinese and Western dishes every single day. Your all-inclusive package also covers an afternoon tea service to keep you refreshed between activities.

Breakfast Eggs, toast, baked beans and cereals. We also serve local favorites for a fresh start.
Lunch Rice, noodles, curries and fresh fruit. We serve the daily catch right at your table.
Dinner A dinner buffet featuring local and regional dishes. Enjoy fresh fish, prawns and squid caught from the sea earlier that day.
Afternoon Tea Included afternoon tea service with coffee and light snacks.

Fresh Seafood BBQ: We can arrange a special seafood BBQ if you request it ahead of time. You can enjoy freshly grilled fish, prawns and shellfish straight from the morning catch. This requires an extra fee. Please let us know when you book your room.

Tawau Airport (TWU)

Tawau Airport is your main entry point for visiting Semporna. Several domestic airlines fly into Tawau daily.

  • Beijing/Shanghai: transit via KL or KK

Road Transfer to Semporna

We will arrange a private car or comfortable van to pick you up from Tawau Airport. This road trip takes you directly to the Semporna town jetty.

Speedboat to the Resort

Our team will greet you at the Semporna jetty for a quick speedboat ride directly to your room. The trip only takes a few minutes across calm waters. We will also handle your return trip to Semporna and Tawau Airport when it is time to leave. Just share your flight details with us after booking.
